About Me

Frédéric is a PhD candidate in economics at Queen’s University working in the fields of financial, environmental, and development economics, as well as in tax policy modelling. Frédéric's research interests include heterogenous agents macroeconomic models and input-output models.

Frédéric previously worked as a tax policy officer at Finance Canada and participated in the modelling and design of Canada’s federal carbon price as part of the federal-provincial-territorial Working Group on Carbon Pricing Mechanisms. More recently, Frédéric has performed tax expenditures analysis in Ethiopia, Mongolia, Myanmar and Rwanda as a consultant for the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
