About Me

Frédéric is a PhD candidate in economics at Queen’s University working in the fields of development economics, environmental economics, and tax policy modelling. Frédéric's research interests include heterogenous agents macroeconomic models and input-output models.

Frédéric previously worked as a tax policy officer at Finance Canada and participated in the modelling and design of Canada’s federal carbon price as part of the federal-provincial-territorial Working Group on Carbon Pricing Mechanisms. More recently, Frédéric has performed tax expenditures analysis in Ethiopia, Mongolia, Myanmar and Rwanda as a consultant for the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
